Pastor's BIO

Pastor Teffany Pierce

Pastor Teffany D. Pierce, Sr. has a tremendous passion for God’s Word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows throughout every facet of his ministry.

Having received his mandate from God, Minister Pierce, obediently fulfilled his calling as an Associate Minister of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross, Georgia under the leadership of Bishop William L. Sheals. Under this leadership, he was chosen out of 53 ministers to teach noon day Bible study to the seniors following the curriculum Bishop Sheals taught in the evening study, along with filling in for funerals and other ministry needs.

Minister Pierce was called into ministry at the age of 29 in his home church, New Life Missionary Baptist Church under the Leadership of Pastor L.C. Teasley. At New Life, Minister Pierce served in the office of Superintendent of Christian Education, President of the Layman ministry as well as Praise & Worship Leader.

Speaking words that would characterize his destiny and his ministry; “I will stand for the Kingdom of God!”  God has planted him like a tree in good ground as he spreads the word of God to people in cities throughout the country.

In 2006, Minister Pierce’s obedience to the Lord formed Truth & Destiny International Christian Center where he was ordained by Apostle Greg Gober of Restoration Community Church.

During this pastorate, Minister Pierce lead a ministry of over 45 faithful members and formed “Reach one Feed One”. He saw the fulfillment of Ephesians 3:20,” Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. This ministry, dear to Minister Pierce’s heart, allowed him to reach out to the elderly seniors, as well as the homeless who did not have proper nutrition on a daily basis. This ministry was able to supply meals, clothing and coats to the physical needs and a word of encouragement and uplift for their spiritual nourishment.

In 2009, Pastor Veronica Smith of Source of Hope Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia entrusted Minister Pierce with being Assistant Pastor. He ordained deacons, taught bible study and carried service in her absence while recovering from surgery.

God also opened doors and created opportunities for Minister Pierce to share in music ministry with numerous gospel artists such as: Georgia Mass, Gerald Thompson, Dottie Peoples, Byron Cage, James Bignon, and LaShun Pace.
